surprise that they throw one of the dirtiest, longest-running Circuit events in
the world. This year’s theme is “The Villain’s Lair,” a campy celebration of “evil
geniuses, scoundrels, deviants and monstrous freaks of nature.” Don’t forget
to pack for summer; October marks the end of spring down under. Famously
colorful and friendly, the Aussies welcome the entire world to their Mardi Gras,
and pay for it with proceeds from this massive event. Bring your sewing kit, and
enter the Project Sleazeway costume competition with your most villainous outfit.

This is a world-class party that defies any effort to neatly categorize it because of
