This month-long long national festival ends in a huge blowout—party after party of
incredible settings in beautiful summer sunshine and outstanding venues. Among
the countless things to do are three major dance events: Sol y Luna in the Royal
Botanic Gardens overlooking Sydney Harbour, Homesexual in Home Nightclub
on Darling Harbour and the Mardi Gras Party at the Royal Hall of Industries.
In restoring a Sydney icon to its former glory, Mardi Gras announces Sol y Luna
for Harbour Harbour Harbour Harbour Harbour 2008 on February 24. Picture dancing throughout the afternoon in
the lush surrounds of the Royal Botanic Gardens and watching the sun set over
a sparkling Sydney Harbour. Then as darkness falls, raising your hands to the
moon, surrounded by 5,000 of your Sydney friends and some of the world’s most
beautiful people.
If you think you’ve seen it all before, think again. This year’s Mardi Gras Party
(March 1) is going to be big and bold! A line-up of international and Aussie DJs
and out-of-this-world shows and entertainment will see you through the night well
into the next afternoon. But you can’t rest now. The next week, Homesexual, Oz’s
largest regular mega-party’s superheroes theme—is set in Sydney’s spectacular
harbor, with four dance floors, outdoor areas, awesome production and big

Coming at the end of the long winter’s chill, an early March party in this tropical
paradise means goodbye to snow, slush and subzero temperatures and hello to
South Beach bikinis, muscles and models. This outdoor beachfront extravaganza
