We’re very excited about our cover girl for this
issue. Flava is wildly entertaining on stage, and you
can’t help but be energized after one of her shows.
Flava is a staple at events with high production
values where top-shelf entertainment is expected,
and we are proud to showcase her talent and
integrity.
Tom Whitman is featured in our Promoter
Spotlight, with his trip to Rio Pride representing
noiZe on behalf of the Brazil Tourism Bureau. The
usual dazzling array of hunky Brazilian boys fill the
clubs and streets for Rio Pride, and we know Tom
had a rewarding time gathering information and
taking photos for this issue.
With so many gay clubs across the nation closing,
2008 finally brings a new addition to the
scene. Town recently opened to great fanfare in
Washington, D.C.—and is featured in our city spotlight.
With great DJs such as David Knapp, Randy
Bettis, and Wess, Town is getting D.C. boys out of
their bedrooms and back on the dance floor. Those
traveling to Cherry will find that D.C. is once again
a fabulous gay destination.
